Hey friends! I can not believe that in 2 short months both of my girls will be in school! Well my youngest in preschool and my older daughter in 1st grade! AHH! But for now, we are going to embrace this hot weather and enjoy the time we have together.
Also in just a few weeks we will be on vacation and we can not wait. Excited is an understatement!!! Stay tuned for some fun packing tips, and all things vacation related because I can not contain our excitement!
The real reason I am writing this today is because I have been really thinking of ways to redecorate some spaces around here. When I start thinking about it, I try to stick with a small budget as always. So here are some of my absolute favorite ways to decorate…
1. Shop your home
Always go around your house and see what you can switch around or see what you have that you aren’t using at the time. You may be surprised at what you can find or reuse in a different space! It can really make a huge impact!!!
2. Find free printables online
You can search online for free printables and see what you love. I love putting these in an old frame to spruce up an area! You can find floral prints, old maps, and a ton of vintage prints too! It is so fun to see what you can find. Also Etsy has some you can pay for too if you can’t find any free ones that you love. The possibilities are endless!
3. Greenery
Adding greenery can really make an area look different. A simple little faux plant can really make an area look more lively!
4. Thrift stores
I always find fun stuff to decorate my home with at the thrift stores and for super cheap. My favorite things to look for are… old blankets, picture frames, baskets, and candlesticks. You can usually find a ton of this stuff that people donate.
Those are my tips that seem to always work for me when redecorating a space. I tend to do best on a budget this way instead of going out and buying brand new items at a store. I encourage you to try some of these fun tips too!!! I would love to hear any tips you have too.
